49 year old man crashes ambulance

Ok so when they say a man crashes an ambulance and its a patient who beat up the EMTs....in nearly all cases i've noticed in my time working medical...they have been psych, and the best time to escape is during the car ride....my bet for todays news...a nutjob beat up those guys and joyrided in a vain attempt to get away. Lesson learned: HIPPA sucks!

Political note

On the poltical note today, remember it takes a good few years for the market to feel the full effect of legislations passed. Usually around a decade or so before practices and procedures are adapted to laws that are continuously changed. In a sense the Glass-Steagall Act repealled by Clinton is very much one of those whose effects we feel today....McMahon was right....that is all

college ctd

ok...so most people are already aware i got 2 bachelors...im thinkin of goin for a 3rd in less than a year...and for less than 10k. Yes thats right, if i play my cards right and go through corey's stepdad for extra mats. Basically, the tuition and op fees go up to 4.5k/sem making it 9k per year. Work gives a 2k tuition reimbursement per year...so that makes it 7k. Now, with that discount in mind its only the credits i gotta worry about the major im lookin at requires anywhere from 36-45 credits, of those i took a minimum of 6 already if i remember right. so i go for a year i pay only 7grand for my 3rd degree.
I don't think im moving out of my house anytime soon cuz im gonna try to milk this for all its worth.
the major you ask?
the one i hate most, psych

Soul Scream

It happened again, something happens to a good friend...and it all breaks....no im still sane maybe too much so in these circumstances. Its just, the want to solve something, fix a problem...nobody should ever be assaulted, thats why i want to protect others and i can't easily its rediculous. I only enforce crap laws 90% of the time...I need to stop others from getting hurt...i can't allow it to happen to friends...no more of them will be hurt at all. Its too much pain every time...i feel it. ergh...sorry for the emo rant its just my soul screams for something to be done and i want to serve that justice thats inside. ergh

early mornin

So...after not being able to sleep, i decided something, 8 years ago i was a sophomore in high school a lot has changed since then, not much for the better. I figured this out at the end of the mental solitude i had
If I went back 8 years, just eight, i could keep the core concepts of my tutelage at hand while enhancing my situation now, I could keep the same grades and the associations (*if i somehow managed to luck out like i did back then but if i had my memory i would have little-no trouble in recreating them) I had, while eliminating the mistakes i made. Theres a lot i wish to undo, very much so, heck i could avoid buying so many video games new and just wait for the prices to come down to reasonable rates, i would prolly save myself a grand at that. No warcraft, no Wii...like all those financial blunders i caused myself and social situations i could throw out the window and make things better today, heck i would even take a new major and prolly go for my masters cuz im nutty enough. 8 years, the first 2 of which would be lolable but cruicial at the same time as they served a heavy base starting from halloween during my junior year. I could easily pull that day off i hardly did much, its the conversations after and the association chain after i would have to recreate, and that would mean getting to know a friend again who started that chain. Sounds tough but if i had the ability to do so, you bet your ass i woulda done it. Woulda made my life today so much more livable and manageable. Sorry for the rant just had to talk about it

So...work assigned me to work the graveyard shift.....Fri, sat, sun, mon Nights, and sat evening too as a double....
I will soon be awake at night mostly, having generally evenings to myself and after 10 i will be going to work...this is a rather sad state of affairs but this is what the gas prices have sorta forced me to accept.

Yes, I am making more money, the way its negotiated i am making 36k pre tax/yr. thats approx 18/hr when you think about it.

Kinda makes me feel like a loser, and not having vet status kinda is harmful to me for this field, if i had to do it over again i woulda stuck to my numbers and kept crunchin em....thats my .02 on the matter.

How do you like your genocide /political rant

Ok so today im at work and i read the herald, yes i read the herald not the communist ledger, mainly cuz its not avail but neways i read this article stating that Russia's parliament historically claims that Stalin did not commit genocidal acts, despite massive evidence that several, led by Stalin did take place. Now, don't get me wrong Hitler was bad as well but the death toll Stalin took was much, MUCH HIGHER, to the point where people should call him the most evil. No they were not all jewish, but any "imperfections" were eliminated flush, political dissidents, religion, priests, "nobles". These people were killed and massacred just the same under an oppressive regime over a period much greater than 10 years, remember the final solution wasn't even that long.

Sadly the intelectual community has not focused on this as much as other events, for reasons that should remain obvious and not mentioned here.

(Now I know the US has committed atrocities as well, and they are better known to us for what went on in the 19th century with expansionist views. Those are also inforgiveable but i want to focus on the ruskies here)
It pisses me off that Russia gets away with this sorta thing, sure theres current things to focus on like Darfur and whatnot, and they are equally important to stop, but hey, come on, lets start hating Russia a little more, they really mess things up. Not once during any of my poli sci classes focused on the subject of genocide mentioned Russia's attrocities, mentioned the ones the US committed, but not Russia, am I crazy in thinking that there is a strong socialist bias still contained in the intellectual community to hide fact? I think this era needs to be revealed, the more its hidden the more likely it is that events will reoccur.
Sorry Russia, you still got a way to go before really gettin back on your feet.

yeah, more crap guys, this summer keeps getting better v.v.

I owe my mom 1800, yes, that much, that depletes my funds completely to just graduate college, the thing is i owe her a crapton of it this week. I work for one more month, i may be able to get her all the cash, but that doesn't help me out with my car, so im pretty screwed. so now i got to pay my rents as well as my car, i hate this, i need more hours at work, but i only got a month of it left....i hate my life. so cons are questionable atm, i need to rethink how im going to pay for them and find a new job. gahhhhhhh.......

Le suckage

Summer started, yup it did, and am i free...i wish.
So far i got a job, to start me off until i graduate, which is nice, i need one, but outside that i got issues.

So far im only free on weekends, but on weekdays im spending time on the compy making sure my homework is done between running raids and whatnot, if i wasn't so motivated for good loot and completion of games i woulda been done with that cursed game a long time ago. MMORPGs steal your soul...i swear they do.

As far as my car, last year turned it to shit again, i got at least 500$ worth of work to do to it, so i am limited in my driving range...that and i risk getting towed every day when i go to work. So it may up the cost a little...freakin braintree offers no parking alternatives. may not be fixed good enough to pass inspection for a month >.<

Socially? its the vegas man...nothin more nothin less, drama every corner, i won't complain about it here unless i am truely disturbed by it.

My brother, hes back, we drove home from UTAH in 43 hours straight cannonball run, i got 2 hours of sleep since he wouldn't wear his glasses and can't drive in rain....i think he needs a social life in the vegas, won't be nice but something good for him.

BUT, I AM GRADUATING THIS SUMMER!
2 BACHELORS DEGREEES CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND POLITICAL SCIENCE!...finally no more dorming, now to find money...lots of it.

As for cosplay, im goin for tobi at CT con and remaking Gaignun perhaps even going to the Turks for a day or so...i got options but little real ideas on who to cosplay other than what i did already, I don't mind redoing stuff i already did or doing more from past series. I really want to be a yoshi however, or a question mark block with a yoshi egg on top, that would be awesome!
Maybe a group mario cosplay is in order this november. ^_^

so i got no sleep

so yeah, good story,
Thursday, ok, normal day, filled with WoW among other things, yes, i started playing the online addiction, its pretty fun but it takes so long to do stuff, time really flies when playing it. But before i go off track, heres what went on, at about 11 i started working upon a poly sci paper which was rather easy and while working on that i was surfing the internet for the Wii of course because well, i have decided to go for it as PS3 is too expensive. So i surfed and found out that friday was the day you could actually reserve it, now thats important because if you don't reserve it you are caught in the post thanksgiving rush for systems...and that is a pain in the butt, N64 taught me that lesson before. so after my roomate came back i was like hey, dude we gotta go on a mission from god, we must reserve a wii for ourselves tomorrow...and after some banter we agreed to wake up at like 630 to wait at the local gamestop (there were two others across the street in the mall (like Hanover but in NH). this was at 1am mind you...we went to bed immediately....ONLY to be woken up at 2AM by a fire drill...some stupid kids never learn...they just won't its wrong to do these things at night, it is disturbing, and a pain. So i didn't get back in for a half hour and not back to sleep until 330...

FRIDAY!
so i woke up at six thirty slept in for another fifteen minutes and then we set out...we got to the gamestop early enough to find like six people outside, i thought oh god we can't get it now, we are too late, but my roomate was like well i know my local gamestop about the same size as this had forty reserves...so i think we are good...well we were and the manager ...who was there at six (four hours before the store opened was giving tix to people who wanted to reserve it. So my roomate got #14 and i #15 out of 32 reserves...that was pretty lucky, so we were waiting with the people who were here before us and they broke out a car battery, inverter, a gamecube, and a TV and we played Smash bros all morning. about two hours before the store opened the power decided to die and the manager said for everyone with debit or credit cards or tradeins, to go get cash, i was ok as i had cash but everyone went flying away. so we waited and they got back and we lined up at 9 so those who got there late (by this time the reserves were handed out but just had to go through the register at 10 when they legally could do so) did not see people just walk in later on haphazardly to reserve, basically those who could reserve were first in line so it could be done so the manager could tell poeple that she was set for reserves and couldn't do anymore. So ten rolls around and i reserved a Wii (payed for in full so i definitely have it nomatter what) twilight princess, and an extra controller because i plan on making this system multiplayer. 287 all together. Went back to school got no sleep til 1 am. it was a good day however and brits party rocked, watched avatar and appa was stolen, it was sad because that flying bison is awesome.
but yeah, it was good altogether.
why a new system? backwards compatibility is a big one (i can sell off the old ones and get more space for my media setup because the cube does not fit in a small area for dvd players) new controller is also major, i saw that thing and you really got to see it in action to be like wow, this is freakin awesome. it can surf the web easily, so i don't have to worry about too much when i have no computer, i can just go into my room and use the tv (i plan on getting fast internet next summer)
so yeah, the wii shall arive soon, now to just wait and have fun

SYSTEMS!!!

ok, i know i shouldn't talk about this prolly, but its better than me doing a politics post lol
so what system you want?

ok, this is mainly focusing on video game systems, released or going to be released this november. Here i am going to post the two
PS3
ok, it has a lot, rips off nintendos controller thing, able to play movies and blu ray too...buuuutt, its expensive...very expensive clocking in at 500 for a simple basic version
may have more games however
Wii
let the urine jokes fly, but seriously this system has a lot more than you think
it has a controler that is in two parts, connected by a wire and is wireless to the tv, much like a motion sensor, very nice to use and very easy, small system, easy to store, yet durable, no dvd playback, but backwards compatibility to old days, nester and zsnes will have competition soon...also it has internet ability to connect whenever...i wonder if aim is possible on this one?
price....about $250...not too many manufacturers logged onto this system yet...not sure how well it will do in the long run
me im goin for the wii..zelda calls i answer...although i don't know how long nintendo will last this gen unless it gets third party support
as for bakaretsucon, i am prolly goin to it, i got a place offered there so i am goin to go for it methinks

RESIDENT EVIL!!!

RE Stuff
Favorites
Favorite Resident Evil game: The Third....you can go through it many times and its variance of enemies, ammunition etc is there for you, its like playing a new game each time, and it can always scare the crap out of you, especially when you try things in different orders...you find nemesis in places you thought were saf.

Favorite Resident Evil character: oh god i gotta choose? Leon, hes got more guts than anyone and he really changes between games, at first hes a rookie cop, naive to the way of the popo, then hes all superbly trained and confident plaga killer, he advances to the next level.
Carlos is second, i want more time to play as him before hes at the top

Favorite Resident Evil weapon: shotgun, not overpowered, more ammo for it, and its good for cranial extractions. Favorite Version: Striker, i don't care if people say its ugly, its got the nickname street sweeper for a reason. handcannon is nice mano a mano, but never in a fight 1 vs. crapload

Favorite Resident Evil theme song: that theme when the chopper is blowing everything away in RE4, its patriotic lol, reminds me of going america, f* yeah
Favorite Resident Evil enemy: Boss: Nemesis, Enemy: Regenerators, why, they are so creepy and scary. one chases you, the other stalks you and keeps healing in front of you after you blow its freakin head off
Favorite Resident Evil video: Wesker v. Alexia
Favorite Resident Evil Boss: Alligators...they go boom, and its the best ripoff ever created
Favorite Resident Evil area: Remake mansion for my area, for room? i would go for the S.T.A.R.S. office

Least Favorites
Least favorite Resident Evil game: 2, currently, out of all games, this one needs an upgrade the most, on the GC it was still poor, and had reminicent PS1 artifacts with it. graphic upgrade, but not much else...so it needs a remake like 1.
Least favorite Resident Evil character:
Least favorite Resident Evil weapon: Mine thrower from 4, its pointless.. 3 had a much better one
Least favorite Resident Evil theme song: when there isn't one, i am scared shitless, its not a theme that gets me, its the lack thereof that does
Least favorite Resident Evil enemy: Lickers, so freakin hard to hit.
Least favorite Resident Evil video: When mikhail pulls a grenade....i felt bad for the guy.
Least favorite Resident Evil Boss: Big freakin spider in code veronica
Least favorite Resident Evil area: Castle in 4, it felt like it droned on forever.

Who
Is the funniest Resident Evil character: Alfred ashford, that accent and whine come on, he is resident evil, *cue annoying laughter
Is the bravest Resident Evil character: Jill, she went against nemesis and everything else in the main streets of racoon city. Leon and Claire were indoors for the most part. Chris is close, but he didn't have to go against Nemesis.
Is the meanest Resident Evil character: Alfred and Alexia, they are cruel to people in general, but their father fell victim to them...thats cruel
Is the most annoying Resident Evil character: Salazar....i hate that midget, so want to splatter his brains with handcannon.
Is the hottest Resident Evil character: Female: Jill, Claire, Ashley, Male: carlos, and only carlos, all the sexy ladies love his accent. it drives them crazy
Is the most intelligent Resident Evil character: Jill or Rebecca, Jill can gunsmith and work with firearm parts, rebecca knows chem pretty well,
Is the dumbest Resident Evil character: Steve, he really needed to put down his personal issues in the life or death situation on rockfort island

Who has
The best scenario: Jill, shes got a whole game for her, and its pretty exciting
The best weapons: Remake Chris- he gets the stuff i care about. shotgun, and magnum, can't go wrong there
The best clothes: Ashley, skirt version, guy: Leon, RPD outfit
The best voice: I also think wesker
The best body: Jill and Carlos as well, both are in shape and awesome
The best hair: Jill, when shes in the dino crisis outfit
The best personality: Leon, he seems pretty friendly and awesome
The best eyes: Wesker, red eyes yeah! claire is my second, i love that closeup CG vid of her eyes
The best background: Wesker, hes realllly developed, the villains get the goodness in this series

why i like school...stolen from casey-chu because i thought its fun

and yes, i go to umass Lowell, aka Umass LoL
1: Location
I don't think i need to brag too much, but this campus has an excellent scenic location. With a prime view of the merrimack river, the scenery during all times of day is excellent, with a turn of the prior century victorian and industrial feel to it at times. Also, we are not even five minutes away from the NH boarder, and you know what that means, NO TAXES!!!! Malls, shopping centers, the T into boston, all of which is nearby and within walking distance. Theres even a bus system. As far as size, its small and compact, yet still full of diversity, sure not everyone comes from every nation, but you get a good mix of good people, and its closely enough knit that you know a good amount of people you walk by at least on sight if not by name.
2. School stuff: its good, usually classes are smaller and taught by people who are very familliar with students, easy and approachable to ask questions and not overwhelmed with work to a point where a TA must grade everything alongside the teacher. The legislature for the state gives massive funding to the Sciences depts as they are highly productive in their studies, and also approve the school under the Quinn Bill, allowing for pay raises to those who graduate criminal justice programs and go into the force.
3. The dorms, only eight buildings, each with a different taste, the freshman dorms, the tower filled with drama, the suite building across from it which is semi party central, and then the north, which is filled with study centers...then south, good ol south, filled with parties and art and music major students , also the only two dorms connecting to eachother for easy access to see others, which means no signing into the other dorm like crazy. there is no real difference between dorms in terms of drug and alcohol use, but its small enough to say to neighbors, hey look, keep clean or go elsewhere. and it works! The RAs are not so numerous that you actually get to know who runs the building and how to hack the system with ease. As for parties, you probably know where most of the ones are on the southern campus, and the lobbies are filled with huge TVs, DDR competitions weekly, we even get to use a Theater for video gaming after seven! YES BIG SCREEN VS MODES A PLENTY! the food, well, its not five star, but you do get a pretty good selection often, and if you aren't up for food, theres so much takeout in lowell of different varietys and delivery that you get whatever you want at your fingertips. Bathrooms are clean, and on every floor for both boys and girls. Its small, but you definitely feel like its home! i love it at Umass! Not to mention, its close to amherst, where even more friends are!squeeee
